The secret to your tradeshow success, based on my background.

I’ve been involved in the tradeshow world since my days at IDEXX (early 2000s). There, I was part of a team that created marketing themes, incentives, sponsorships, and materials long before the event to build excitement. And then I was on the floor, witnessing in-booth meetings, lunch-area meetings, outdoor meetings, separate conference-room meetings, and many others.

BUSINESS WAS HAPPENING ON THE SPOT.

Over my many years involved in trade shows, I’ve witnessed tradeshow booths crammed with heavy traffic and eager engagement. (Here I am, talking with prospects at Traffic & Conversions.)

I’ve also witnessed quiet booths with very little traffic, where the sales reps are standing around and looking at their phones. Folks would walk by and wonder, “What does that company DO?” and “Why should I stop here?” Oh dear.
